Embattled World Bank President Paul Wolfowitz will resign at the end of June, he and the bank said late Thursday. His departure ends a two-year run that was marked by controversy over his previous role as a major architect of the Iraq war and for landing a high-paying job for his girlfriend at the US State Department.
