Plane Captain Dennis Diage stood in front of his S-3B Viking on the flight deck of the USS John F. Kennedy. The plane was chocked to the deck as crews readied the ship for a Boston visit.

The majestic steel ship is being decommissioned after making one last stop this week in Boston, docking in South Boston starting on Thursday.
