Staff Sergeant Joseph P. Bellavia, 28, Wakefield
The three Bellavia brothers all ended up in public service jobs. Joseph was a military policeman while his twin brother, Jonathan, was a police officer. Their brother Chris is a paramedic and volunteer firefighter. "We were like the Three Stooges. There was never a dull moment," Jonathan Bellavia said. Joseph Bellavia was one of three Fort Campbell soldiers killed Oct. 16, 2003, in a clash with gunmen guarding the headquarters of a Shi'ite cleric in Karbala in southern Iraq. He entered the Army in 1995 after graduating from high school in Wakefield.
