WASHINGTON -- Brimming with optimism over their efforts to beat back President Bush's plan to restructure Social Security, Democrats in Congress are planning to keep up the pressure on Republicans this week, bolstered by nationwide town hall meetings they said solidified public opposition to the president's proposal.
