WASHINGTON -- Supreme Court nominee Samuel A. Alito Jr. yesterday endorsed a right to privacy under the Constitution, but did not disavow his 1985 statement in a job application that he believes the Constitution does not protect a right to abortion. (Full article: 1409 words)
