WASHINGTON -- The Democratic Party yesterday moved a step closer to approving up to two presidential caucuses between the lead-off Iowa caucus and the New Hampshire primary, in a reshuffling of the 2008 political calendar that Granite State leaders fear would dilute the influence of the first-in-the-nation primary.
