Massachusetts roll call on the $700 billion bailout bill

The U.S. House of Representatives today defeated, 205-228, a proposed bailout in which the Treasury would pay up to $700 billion to acquire shaky assets from weak financial firms in order to restore liquidity and growth to the U.S. economy.

Below is a tally of how the 10 Massachusetts members of the House of Representatives voted. A yes vote was to pass a bill (HR 3997) that provided for judicial and congressional oversight.
