WASHINGTON—President Barack Obama has a busy day of meetings planned, but no public appearances are on the agenda.
Friday morning, after his daily briefing, Obama meets with Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and other members of his national security team on Afghanistan and Pakistan.
In the afternoon, the president will talk with his Council of Advisers on Science and Technology.
