The following recalls have been announced:
-- Rise 'N Roll Bakery of Middlebury, Ind., is recalling select 20-ounce jars of Rise 'N Roll Specialties gourmet cookie mixes, because they contain milk not listed on the label. This could be dangerous for people with milk-related allergies. No illness has been reported. The recall includes the following flavors of gourmet mixes: chewy oatmeal, choc-chocolate delight, hint o'mint, incredible chocolate chip, oat-rageous 'n sweet and Reese's treat. -- About 17,800 Ameristep Plastic strap-on tree steps, manufactured in China by Primal Vantage Co. Inc. of Randolph, N.J., because the plastic portion of the steps can break and pose a fall hazard. This is an expansion of an earlier recall, to include another date code. The company has received six reports of broken steps, including two reports of bruises and cuts. The steps were sold at outdoor and sporting goods stores nationwide from December 2008 through November 2009.
