The 60-40 roll call Tuesday by which the Senate cleared the way for a vote on final passage of legislation to restore extended unemployment benefits to the long-term jobless.

A "yes" vote is a vote to limit debate.

Voting yes were 56 Democrats, 2 Republicans and 2 independents.

Voting no were 1 Democrat and 39 Republicans.
