Council of Advisers on Science and Technology co-chair

Eric Lander, a Massachusetts Institute of Technology professor specializing in human genome research, will be co-chairman of the president's Council of Advisers on Science and Technology. His co-chairmen will be council director John Holdren, who will also direct the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy, and Harold Varmus, a former director of the National Institutes of Health.
