After the Democratic Party suffered losses in the midterm elections, President Obama gathered his senior advisers to focus anew on his messaging efforts. Among those attending a session on Nov. 3, the day after the elections, were David Simas of Taunton (left) and Stephanie Cutter of Raynham. Simas is a graduate of Stonehill College and Boston College Law School and previously served on the Taunton School Committee and City Council.
