Why a building collapsed Friday afternoon near Mount Vernon Square in Washington, D.C., is still unknown.

But a Washington Post photographer was there to take pictures just as the structure crumbled down.

According to the Washington Post, no one was seriously injured during the incident.

“Everybody, fortunately, is OK,’’ said Kam Ali, a manager at Cloakroom Gentleman’s Club, which was hit by debris. “The building is damaged. It’s pretty serious.’’
