ABOUT OUR PODCASTS
What is podcasting?
Podcasting lets you listen to audio files at your convenience by automatically downloading the files you choose to your computer. You can listen to the audio clips through your computer, or download them onto your iPod or other MP3 player automatically every time you connect your device to your computer. Then you can take the clips with you and listen on your way to work, while taking a walk or exercising, or just relaxing.
To begin, you must have podcasting software such as iTunes or iPodder installed on your computer. Follow that program's instructions for subscribing to podcasts. The program also will let you set preferences for when you want to receive updates -- for example, daily or weekly.
How to subscribe
If you use iTunes, click on the iTunes icon to the right of each podcast listed here.
If not:
1) Highlight the Subscription link for your podcast, right-click the mouse, and hit Copy.
2) Go to your podcasting software and find the subscription field. Right click the mouse and hit Paste. This process may vary depending on your software.
We encourage the use of Boston Globe podcasts for personal, non-commercial use. You may not edit or modify or redistribute the podcast content.
