Edward Linde
Jan. 10During a 45-year career, Linde changed the face of modern Boston, leaving an indelible imprint on the citys skyline and culture - from the Prudential Center towers to the halls of the Museum of Fine Arts and Boston Symphony Orchestra.
The real estate developer and philanthropist died at 68 after battling cancer.
As the cofounder of Boston Properties, Mr. Linde developed the signature crown-shaped tower at 111 Huntington Ave. and the citys first green skyscraper, a 31-story building at Russia Wharf.
