Harvard Labs holiday cards
Holiday cards made by Pardis Sabeti’s laboratory at Harvard University are known for being elaborate, ridiculous, and kind of epic. For 2012, the Sabeti lab took inspiration from South Korean pop star Psy’s hit music video “Gangnam Style.” They painstakingly recreated individual scenes from the video.

Last year, the holiday card grew yet more elaborate, involving costumes borrowed from the ART and an elaborate staging at Memorial Church intended to replicate the School of Athens.
In 2010, Sabeti and her students and post-docs went underwater, utilizing scuba and snorkeling gear and doing three photo shoots.
In 2009, as the laboratory grew, the group made a more sophisticated card, incorporating laboratory members as portraits on the wall.
