I saw this ship in Ireland as it was being built just a three years ago. I learned of it's future voyage to Boston while I was touring Ireland on foot. What a tremendous idea. Not a sole was lost aboard this vessel is what I recall.

Christine, Hampden, Maine

I sailed up on the JJ from Providence(Mon) to Boston(Thu) and then spent Friday night on board the ship well into early Saturday afternoon assisting with the visitors. In my time on the boat I learned a lot from the crew about sailing a rigged ship that I had no knowledge of before. If anything, I wish I had more time on the ship than just 3 1/2 days. The crew was fantastic and the other sail trainees were great. This was simply put, an experience of a lifetime. To think the only reason that I had the opportunity to do this is due to one of my relatives spending 6-7 weeks on a similar ship was really quite moving. I appreciated the chance I got even more when I thought about that.

Marty, Oxford, MA
