Anthrax was found in the offices of American Media, Inc., the nation's top publisher of tabloid newspapers (including the "National Enquirer," "The Star," and "The Globe"). Spores were found on the keyboard of a man who died and in the mail room.
Anthrax was also found at a U.S. Postal Service facility.
Contracted AnthraxRobert Stevens, 63, a photo editor for American Media's "The Sun," contracted inhaled anthrax. He died on Oct. 5.
Ernesto Blanco, 73, a mail room worker at American Media, contracted inhaled anthrax and remains hospitalized. Until Oct. 15, he was listed as only having been exposed to anthrax.

American Media employees Stephanie Dailey, David Wright and four others whose names were not released. They have been treated with antibiotics.
New York City
Anthrax was found at NBC News headquarters in a letter postmarked Sept. 18 from Trenton, N.J., and addressed to "Nightly News" anchor Tom Brokaw.
Anthrax was also found at the headquarters of ABC News and CBS News, in the newsroom of the New York Post, and in the Manhattan office of New York Gov. George Pataki.
Contracted AnthraxErin O'Connor, 38, anchor Tom Brokaw's assistant at NBC News, contracted skin anthrax. She has been treated with antibiotics.
The seven-month-old son of an ABC News producer contracted skin anthrax. He has been treated with antibiotics.
Claire Fletcher, 27, an assistant to CBS anchor Dan Rather, contracted skin anthrax. She has been treated with antibiotics.
Johanna Huden, 30, an assistant to the editorial page editor at the New York Post, contracted skin anthrax. She has been treated with antibiotics.

Two New York lab technicians and one policeman who worked on the NBC case. Their names have not been released. They were treated with antibiotics.
New Jersey
Anthrax has been found at U.S. Postal Service facilities that handled tainted letters.
Contracted AnthraxA female letter carrier at the mail center at the West Trenton post office in Ewing Township, N.J. contracted skin anthrax. She has been treated with antibiotics.
A 35-year-old male postal worker at the mail center in Hamilton, N.J., tested positive for skin anthrax. He has been treated with antibiotics.

Anthrax was found in the offices of Senate Majority Leader Tom Daschle, in a letter postmarked Oct. 9 from Trenton, N.J. The disease was also found in one of the House mailrooms.
Contracted AnthraxA male postal worker was diagnosed with inhalation anthrax, the most serious form of the disease. He has been treated with antibiotics and is expected to recover.

Twenty-eight people at the Capitol complex, including aides to Daschle and two Capitol police officers. They have been treated with antibiotics.
