Introduction to Mitt Romney

The former Massachusetts governor is following Olympian Dan Jansen’s example as he tries to rebound from a loss in his 2008 presidential campaign to win the GOP nomination next year. He has scaled back his operation, highlighted his business background amid the recession, and focused largely on President Obama despite having an array of primary opponents. His biggest challenge may be convincing moderates and independents – as well as conservatives – that he won’t flip-flop on his campaign promises.
