Another intriguing Murray-McLaughlin tie

The link between Lieutenant Governor Timothy Murray and former Chelsea Housing Authority chief Michael E. McLaughlin became public in September, when the Globe reported about their contact before the head of the Dracut Housing Authority was nearly ousted from her job. Yet phone records released last week show just how extensive the conversations were between Murray and McLaughlin: 83 calls back and forth over a seven-month period - including a sequence just after the Globe asked about the Dracut situation.
