Ann Romney to speak at Conn. GOP awards dinner
HARTFORD, Conn.—Ann Romney, the wife of Republican presidential hopeful, Mitt Romney, will be speaking at the Connecticut Prescott Bush Awards Dinner.
Romney is scheduled to deliver the keynote speech at the annual awards dinner Monday evening at the Marriott Hotel in Stamford. The event is hosted by the Connecticut Republicans. Her husband is the favorite to win Connecticut's GOP presidential primary on Tuesday.
The event includes a $250-a-plate dinner and attendees who pay $5,000 will have the opportunity to meet the former first lady of Massachusetts.
Previous dinner keynote speakers include U.S. Republican Speaker of the House John Boehner, in 2011, and Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, in 2010.
