Mayoral candidate John Connolly provided more details today about his stances on some of the key issues facing the city.
Connolly, a city councilor, completed most of a Globe questionnaire featuring yes-or-no answers on a variety of topics. Earlier, Connolly had declined to participate in the survey, saying such complex issues could not be boiled down to one-word answers.
But he changed his mind days after most of the other candidates had submitted their answers.
Among his answers, Connolly said he would:
-- Not support a citywide vote on a Suffolk Downs casino.
-- Support lifting a state cap on the number of charter schools. For more coverage of the mayor’s race, go to boston.com/politics.
