"The Daily Show with Jon Stewart" is in town all week covering the Democratic National Convention for Comedy Central. Correspondent (and Weymouth native) Rob Corddry will chat on Boston.com Thursday, July 29 at 3:30 p.m.

A graduate of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Corddry has spent the last ten years in New York City dangerously treading the line between theater and comedy.

In 1997, following a two year stint with NY sketch comedy staple "Third Rail Comedy," Rob co-founded "Naked Babies," an acclaimed four man sketch group that went on to produce such acclaimed, long-running shows such as "We Hate Myself," "These Are Rocketship People," "Emotional Stuntmen" and has performed with Tenacious D at New York's Bowery Ballroom. He also performs and teaches improv at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York.

Corddry can be seen in television commercials for "The Cartoon Network," Labatts Beer, Wendy's, 1-800-Call-ATT, among others and has done numerous national radio ads. Also, he is proud to have been cited in Entertainment Weekly for "The Worst Commercial of 2001" along with Carrot Top.

Corddry frequently appeared on COMEDY CENTRAL's "Upright Citizens Brigade" and is a regular performer on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." He made his feature film debut in the Dreamworks movie "Old School." He resides in Brooklyn with his wife Sandra. Bio courtesy of www.comedycentral.com.
