The night owl

ALEXA GEOVANOS, 21, recently graduated from Simmons College in Boston with a bachelor's degree in English. Currently working part time at Harvard Business School and doing freelance research for a Harvard professor, she describes herself as ''an avid clubber, social animal, and intelligent person."

Match maker

ANN HARRELL, 30, lives in Boston's North End and is founder of the Boston Young Professionals Association, a networking and social group.

The college crowd

ZOE PANAMA, 20, from Los Angeles, and CHRISTY CICCONE, 20, from Hershey, Pa., will be juniors at Boston University in September. MATT GLASSMAN, from Concord, Mass., and MATT MOISANI, from Orange County, Calif., are both 21 and will be seniors at BU. All four live off campus.

Hip hop artist

BRIAN ELLIS is a 21-year-old junior at Berklee College of Music, majoring in music synthesis and the music business. He's from Weston, Conn.

New hire

ELISA DIBENEDETTO, 24, grew up in North Andover and has an economics degree from Union College in Schenectady, N.Y. Her first real ''adult job' is as a financial analyst for Filene's corporate office.

The perpetual student

CAMERON MARLOW, 27, is in his fifth year of a doctoral program in media arts and sciences at MIT. He grew up in Pebble Beach, Calif., and received a bachelor's degree in computer science at the University of Chicago. One of his areas of expertise is weblogs.
