Starting point: South

Heading Downtown before 4 p.m.

Take I-93 North to Exit 20 (Mass Pike/Logan).

Stay in the ramp's left lane and take the left-side exit for Frontage Road Northbound / South Station.

Follow signs and take the ramp to South Station / Kneeland Street.

For the Financial District and the North End, go straight at the exit.

For Chinatown and the Theater District and Back Bay, turn left onto Kneeland Street.

Heading Downtown after 4 p.m.

All entrance ramps onto I-93 North will be closed from Exit 8 in Braintree all the way to Exit 32 in Medford.

If you can get on to Route 3 / I-93 further south than Exit 8, you can follow the directions above.

If not, you can take Morrissey Boulevard from Neponset Circle to South Boston

. From Old Colony Avenue, turn left onto Dorchester Street into Andrew Square.

Go through the intersection, bearing slightly right past Dunkin' Donuts.

Turn right onto the access road that runs parallel to I-93. Warning: This access road could be very congested.

Follow the signs for South Station / Kneeland Street.
