
John Edwards again tried to position himself as in a two-way race with Barack Obama, portraying Clinton an establishment figure who sought to thwart the message of change both he and Obama wished to deliver.
"Every time he speaks out for change, every time I fight for change, the forces of the status quo are going to attack," Edwards said, adding "I didn't hear these kind of attacks from Senator Clinton when she was ahead, now that she's not we hear them."
