Meryl Wisner, of Grand Haven, Mich., offers free hugs to passing people on the 16th Street Mall. Wisner, an Obama supporter, who is working in the mayor's office for the summer, decided to come out for one day to promote free hugging, partly as a symbol of unity during the Democratic National Convention.
