Democrats, GOP wrangle over 'appeasement'

In his response, Barack Obama said the president made 'a false political attack' which accused him of appeasing terrorists. Although Obama was never explicitly mentioned in Bush's speech, the Illinois senator said the intent was clear. Obama has said in the past he would be willing to meet with the leaders of nations like Iran and Syria. At left, Obama took questions on his campaign plane Wednesday.
