Barack Obama made a speech at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn., on Tuesday, announcing that he had clinched the Democratic presidential nomination. His spoke after the primary elections in South Dakota and Montana earlier that day.

His rival Hillary Clinton did not concede the race.
