As John McCain surged to an insurmountable lead in the Republican race on Feb. 5 -- Super Tuesday -- the fight between Obama and Clinton intensified. Obama won a majority of the 22 states that hit the polls in the Democratic race, but Clinton took home bigger states, including California and New York.
