GOP candidates travel for votes in April

Mitt Romney swept the five GOP primaries on April 24 in Connecticut, Delaware, New York, Pennsylvania, and Rhode Island . He now has 844 of the needed 1,144 delegates to win the nomination before August's Republican convention in Tampa Bay. Voters will head to the polls in Indiana, North Carolina, and West Virginia on May 8.
