Obama: Recent problems in the Middle East are "bumps in the road"
In a September interview with 60 Minutes, President Obama said there are going to be bumps in the road because ... in a lot of these places the one organizing principle has been Islam.
Obama was asked about recent events in the Middle East but not specifically about the attack in Libya that killed Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans.
Mitt Romney responded by saying he couldn't imagine calling the killing of a US ambassador a "bump in the road."
