Romney: "I like being able to fire people."
In January, Mitt Romney gave his opponents ammunition when he said, "I like being able to fire people," during a campaign event in New Hamphshire.
He made the comment while touting a health care approach that would allow people to purchase their own insurance.
It also means that if you dont like what they do, you can fire them, Romney said. I like being able to fire people who provide services to me. If someone doesnt give me the good service I need, I want to say, you know, Im going to go get someone else to provide that service to me.
