Barack Obama is up with a new TV ad in Iowa that casts him as the slayer of lobbyists and special interests. The ad uses clips from Obama's announcement speech earlier this year in Springfield, Ill., including one showing him delivering this oft-cited line: "I know that I haven't spent a lot of time learning the ways of Washington. But, I've been there long enough to know that the ways of Washington must change."

Many of the Democrats are claiming the populist mantle in the primary race, but Obama trumpets his work in the Illinois Senate passing ethics reform and touts the fact that his campaign doesn't accept contributions from lobbyists or political action committees.

See the new ad, called "Take it Back," here.
