Romney son plugs dad in Spanish-language ad

Craig Romney, one of the Five Brothers, uses his Spanish skills in a new radio ad introducing his father to Florida Republicans.

In the 60-second spot, Craig Romney extols Mitt Romney as: "A man of strength. A man of action. A man of faith. A conservative who understands and respects Hispanics and particularly Cuban exiles and others who have come to our country in search of liberty and opportunity." (Listen to it here.)

The ad, first reported by Mark Halperin of Time magazine, also ticks off Romney's resume as businessman, head of the Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, and governor of Massachusetts.

Romney is trying to make up ground in delegate-rich Florida, which moved up its primary to Jan. 29 to a potentially key slot after the Iowa caucuses and New Hampshire primary and before the mega-primary on Feb. 5.

In a Quinnipiac University poll conducted Oct. 19-22, Romney was fourth with 12 percent of likely Republican voters, behind Rudy Giuliani with 30 percent, and John McCain and Fred Thompson with 14 percent each.
