Clinton goes populist in new Iowa ad
Hillary Clinton takes a page out of John Edwards' populist playbook in a new economy-centric TV ad in Iowa.
Speaking to the camera, Clinton talks about the rising price of oil and declining home prices. "The middle class is getting slammed," she says.
Then she pledges to take away corporate tax breaks and give the bounty to the middle class, and to create new jobs.
"A lot of people talk about America's problems," she says. "The next president has to be ready to solve them on day one."
Clinton, Edwards, and Barack Obama are locked in a tight battle in Iowa, where caucuses on Jan. 3 will be the first test of the Democratic nomination race. Edwards, in particular, has been trying to appeal to blue-collar voters and has described Clinton as a corporate Democrat. The ad appears designed to help blunt that charge.

I'm glad to see that Senator Clinton is once again following Senator Edwards lead. They say imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. However, Senator Edwards is the leader when it comes to fighting the stranglehold that corporations have on our government and no 30 second ad by Senator Clinton can change that fact. With all due respect Senator Clinton, we need a leader to fight this battle not a follower.

If democrats elect Hillary it proves they are stupid and we need a third party.
Seems like voters are starting to see Hillary's dark side - just in time too!
