More mailings in New Hampshire

Posted by Foon Rhee, deputy national political editor December 18, 2007 11:02 AM

In the latest batch of campaign fliers landing in the mailboxes of New Hampshire voters, John McCain goes after Mitt Romney for changing his positions and Barack Obama hits Hillary Clinton for, you guessed it, going negative.

The McCain mailing says, "Why is Mitt Romney Attacking John McCain? To Hide Another Flip-Flop." It charges that Romney changed his stand on the comprehensive immigration reform package that McCain championed and that Romney has criticized McCain on, and mentions that Romney hired a landscaping company that employed undocumented workers.

The Obama mailing urges voters to reject Clinton's "misleading, negative attacks," specifically on healthcare. Clinton has run ads arguing that Obama's plan would leave out 15 million of the 47 million Americans without insurance. Obama says that the focus should be on making healthcare affordable because unless it is, people who are required to obtain insurance still won't do it.

  1. All of those panderers to big business, other then Ron Paul, Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter will bankrupt the America. They will allow the next uncontrollable waves of cheap illegal foreign labor, across our non-existant border with mexico
