Pro-Huckabee group hits Romney on abortion
A pro-Mike Huckabee group began airing a TV ad in Iowa today slamming Mitt Romney for this change of heart on abortion -- and this spot even comes with a laugh track.
The ad opens with photos of the two Republicans and the slogan "Both Pro-Life." Then there's the sound of laughter as the spot documents Romney's support of abortion rights during his 1994 US Senate campaign and his 2002 campaign for governor and his current position against abortion.
"On this most fundamental issue, shouldn't we trust a man who's always been consistent?" the announcer asks.
Romney has said he changed his position after reconsidering the issue and after talking to stem cell researchers. His campaign also compares him to Republican icon Ronald Reagan, who also shifted his stand on abortion.

AT LEAST PRESIDENT MITT ROMNEY OPENLY ADMITS HE WAS CONVERTED/CHANGED HIS VIEW TO A FULL PRO-LIFE. WHAT'S AMAZING, THAT THE PHONEY HUKSTER ATTEMPTS TO WEAR HIS RELIGION ON HIS SHIRT SLEEVE IN PUBLIC WHILE YET BEING GUILTY OF CORRUPTION OF ALL SORTS IN HIS REIGN OF BEING GOVERNOR OF ARKANSAS. SOUNDS LIKE ANOTHER CLINTON. HUKSTER SHOULD RUN FOR DEMOCRAT AS HE DOESN'T REPRESENT REPUBILICAN CONSERVATIVE VIEWS, ONLY HIS EVANGECAL NARROWMINDED OLD FOLKS. HUKSTER WILL BE SUCKING PONDWATER AFTER HE GET'S HIS PANT'S KICKED IN IOWA. THE MAJORITY OF THE IOWANS CAN SEE THRU HIS "HOLY ROLLER AGENDA".
