Giuliani, McCain launch new web ads
Rudy Giuliani and John McCain each launched a new web-only ad today that plays up a key selling point leading up to Tuesday's Florida primary.
Giuliani's spot (watch it here) highlights his proposal for a national fund to help residents deal with hurricanes and other disasters.
"Only one Republican candidate has proven experience dealing with disaster," the announcer says, as a photo of Giuliani after the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks appears. "Only one will fight for a national catastrophe fund. And only one has a plan to lower rates and fix the insurance mess. Tested in crisis. Ready to lead. Rudy Giuliani. The only one for Florida."
McCain's ad features former US senator Jack Kemp, senator and former presidential candidate Sam Brownback, and even rival Mike Huckabee vouching for McCain's credentials as a conservative on taxes, judicial appointments, and other issues.
"I enlisted as a foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution," McCain says. "I will match my record with anybody who's running."
Mitt Romney is the man of the hour.
He understands Economics in a time of economic crisis in this country.
He is tough on immigration issues--unlike either Huckabee or McCain both of which have records favoring amnesty for illegals.
He is tough on defense issues and savy on foreign policy and foreign economics.
He is just plain brilliant, moral, charming and electable with his current 66 delegates to McCain's 38 and Huckabee's 20.
Wow! It will be great to have a president we can be proud of. A Handsome, brilliant man with a beautiful and accomplished family to give us all a goal to reach for. Reagan dealt with Gorbachev and Romney will deel well with his successor!!

Giuliani sure has experience with disasters. Think of the countless firefighters who lost their lives while Giuliani was on the front pages. He should have ordered radios for them. Also they should have worn masks. So many now have respitory difficulties.
Giuliani should have been better prepared because 9/11 was not the first time that the Twin Towers were threatened.
Guiliani is not the only one who has dealt with a disaster. The 2002 winter olympics was a disaster when Mitt Romney took them over.
All the media could focus on was the bribery scandal, how much the Olympics was in debt, the security issues due to 9/11, and of course not being able to get Alcohol in Utah. As it all turned out, the 2002 Olympics was one of the best ever. People from all over the world were impressed. Today there is still money left over to support the skating rink and other infrastructure of the games.
The games united the world after the 9/11 tragedy. People were able to come together to celebrate and for a short time forget about their anger, dispair, and security concerns that 9/11 brought. So while Giuliani was given credit for being Mayor during 9/11, Mitt Romney should be given credit for his successfully organizing a venue for people to join together and celebrate in brotherhood.
