Entering to chants of "Obama! Obama!" Barack Obama congratulated Hillary Clinton on a "hard-fought victory" in New Hampshire.
But he did not concede any diminution of his movement for change.
"There is something happening," he said, talking about long lines of voters of all backgrounds, politics, and ethnicities coming to his events.
"We are ready to take this country in a fundamentally new direction," he said. "...Change is what is happening in America."
"We want change," the crowd chanted in response.

Watching all this election coverage... Strange exit polling...Even people that voted for Hillary said they believe Obama is more likely to win the overall primary and more likely to win against the Republicans in a General Election... So they just voted hillary to be different? They would rather vote for someone who will LOSE to the Republicans in the general election? Ah, New Hampshire. How your quaint ways are laughable. When some random Republican democrat beats Hillary in November (she has the highest un-favorability out of the leading six candidates in each party), I hope everyone in New Hampshire who voted for Hillary tonight sits down and is happy with four more years of Republican rule.
Yes, we will- yes, we can, yes, yes, yes, we will because we can - change is on the way, yes we will, yes we can
sounds good to me!
I am starting to get sick of hearing the word "change" still whoever comes into office and does a 180 from the bush administration will start out on the right track. As a 22 year old person i have to say that Obama is the only truly inspiring politician i have ever experienced. I think that he really can move us away from the old dialectic towards something which is both progressive and inclusive. At least i hope so.
Change itself is a "duh" for this campaign. Anyone besides the shrub would be a welcome change. Obama needs to find a more specific keyword. Hillary has intelligent answers to every issue that America is facing, and one of the reasons I support her is the honesty in those answers. It is easy for any new politico to promise change, but a person does not have to be educated or astute to understand that the issues we must fix in the next administration, both foreign and domestic, are not easy fixes. Change is sometimes painful, and quick changes instituted by a passionate newcomer could very well end up destroying our country.
