Romney returns to Florida airwaves
Mitt Romney plays up his outsider fix-it credentials in a new TV ad aimed at Florida voters.
"I keep hearing the same thing, that Washington is broken," he says in the spot that begins airing today. He then ticks off the issues that have gone undone despite lots of talk: universal healthcare, the tax burden on the middle class, illegal immigration.
"If you send the same people back to Washington just to sit in different chairs, nothing will happen," he says. "I will change Washington. I will take it apart and put it back together. I know how to bring change."
Romney had pulled his TV spots from South Carolina and Florida to focus resources on Michigan, but is now returning to those states' airwaves after pulling off a critical win in Tuesday's primary in Michigan.
Romney is running fourth -- behind John McCain, Rudy Giuliani, and Mike Huckabee -- in the most recent polls in Florida, which holds its primary on Jan. 29 and is a key bridge between the contests in Nevada and South Carolina on Saturday and Super Tuesday on Feb. 5.
Giuliani has made Florida his must-win state. Today in two newspapers, the Tallahassee Democrat and the News-Press in Fort Myers, he outlines his tax-cut proposals.
This is a virtual tie with only margin of error type points separating 1st from 4th. Romney will win when the people of Florida really analyze his economic approach and learn that he is the one who can turn the economy around.

Romney has such a depth of character and ability that he seems to be a shoe in. He gets criricised for being a "Mormon" but Huckabee and McCain flout their religion all over the place.

Vote Romney, or let two democrats (McCain and whoever) fight it out it November. Huckabee doesn't have a chance and has readily shown what a hypocrit he is over and over again. I am a born again Christian who understands why Jesus spent most of his ministry railing against the churches. Huckabee is a perfect example of do as I say, not as I do. I am 54 years old and have never donated a dime to a political candidate until this year. I've written five checks to the Romney campaign so far. "By their fruits, ye shall know them."
Romney is the only competent candidate in this presidential race.
All others are in to wast so much money and to drag our country down.
They should see their own limit so they would not hurm this country
by draging it on. Hope people will know better that Romney will be best
to turn around this country.

The only criticisms leveled at Romney have been vague and undefined at best. His opponents can only claim that he has switched opinions on every issue for political gain, but can they say which ones? No.
On the other hand, one can look at Romney's Resume for specifics in a long and successful business, management, and public service career.
Look at his skill in cutting corporate waste and turning unprofitable businesses around with Bain Capital. He can do the same with our government!
Look at his management of the once scandal-ridden Olympics. He performed miracles for them, and he'll do the same for us!

I am so tired of seeing your same post on every single Romney story. Why don't you find something better to do? We know you just want to tear Romney down, just leave it alone already, you don't even know what you're talking about - you're as lame as Huckabee and his "positive" (cough, cough) campaigning, or McCain's BS express.
Romney was chosen to "change" the scandal plagued Olympics because he was the antidote to curruption. Result?...the reputation of the Olympics returned, the sponsors returned and the $300,000,000 deficit turned into a $100,000,000 profit.
Vote for Honesty and Integrity! Vote for Family values, Patriotism, executive leadership experience.

As of now, Romney also has more wins (2) and more delegates (by far) than any other republican candidate. He has the know-how to help America's economy including health care, the war / foreign policy (I'm sure he can build a strong team), and unity. The more I read of him and watch him, the more I think he is the best candidate.
(By the way, to commenter #6 CONTRASTing ads are not negative ads; they merely point out the differences, and comparing and contrasting is critical to informed decision making).
Yes, Romney is the TURN AROUND KING! He is a man of ACTION, not words. He is a family man of integrity who has WALKED THE WALK of conservative social values all his life. ROMNEY IS OUR BEST HOPE FOR THE ECONOMY! Romney will bring new vision, fresh voices, high standards and efficiency to Washington. The only intelligent vote is a vote for Romney.
Romney is the only successful businessman in the lot, with a law degree, and with political experience. We need someone in the President's office that understands how to make it work and Mitt Romney is that person. GO MITT!!!
Do we really need another president that only knows about war? What we need is someone with strong business sense. Everything is being made is China now.
