Tax-cutter Kemp announces for McCain
Trying to rebut criticism of his votes against President Bush's tax cuts, John McCain late last night announced the endorsement of Jack Kemp, the supply side guru who helped put together President Reagan's tax cuts.
"I am proud to support John McCain for president," Kemp said in a statement issued by the McCain campaign. "John McCain is the only candidate who can be trusted to cut taxes, eliminate wasteful spending, and enact conservative pro-growth policies to expand the economy. John McCain is the best choice to lead America to a more prosperous and secure future."
McCain thanked Kemp for his support, saying, "As an architect of the Reagan tax cuts and champion of pro-growth policies, I value Jack's advice and counsel."
Mitt Romney, McCain's main rival in Tuesday's New Hampshire primary, has bashed the Arizona senator for voting against the Bush tax cuts. McCain says he opposed them because they were not tied to spending cuts, but now supports keeping them in place. Kemp, a former congressman from New York, also served as housing secretary under the first President Bush.

WHO IS THE BEST CANDIDATE?
John McCain has been in DC for 25 long years. He is a big part of the Washington grid-lock problem. He is aging like a fossil at 71 years old. He has ridden his war hero status for a long time with small results in Congress. Military leadership can hardly translated to excellence in real life management, because you only has one acceptable way to respond to your seniors which is "YES SIR!” How can any one believe he can revitalize the country? He should be getting ready to pack up his office and moved to Florida for his retirement.
Reagan changed party and he worked out fine. Pro-life, pro-choice is not the most important issue facing this country. I don’t give a darn if is a Mormon of or a Jew. We need someone to win back the leading role in the world economy. Romney has the records of success to show for. He is a proven winner in both the private and public sectors. You need a successful economy to create jobs.
Huckabee had 14 ethnical violations brought against him relating to finances as governor. Shortly before announcing his candidacy for the President of the United States, Huckabee ordered that the drives of 83 computers and 4 servers be destroyed during his transition phase in leaving office. He raised taxes 21 times and granted clemency to 1033 convicted felons, 12 murderers and rapists. Try to improve his tough on crime image with Chuck Norris. (Give me a break! If they were selling weight lose machine it would be more convincing!) He has a 2 1/2 year of religious higher education and as a minister selling religion for a living with people's donation for 12 years. Ref: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_huckabee
Check their bios and decide with the facts, not hearsay.
You obviously have little to no idea what on earth you are talking about. John McCain has fought rampant spending an out-of control pork filling since day one. He has been endorsed by the man who is credited for the economic success of the Regan years. Are you seriously dissing the man who has Ronald Regans chief economic officer on his side by saying that he has no idea how to re-vitalize the economy? Get outta here. Mitt Romney is hated by people from Boston. I should know, I live there. While pro-life pro-choice might not be the most important issue, a flip-flopping former liberal with a slick personality and naked ambition might not be the best idea either
McCain has had more foregin policy experience than any other canidate. He fought hard to normalize relations with Vietnam even though he had only recently returned from the POW camp in Vietnam where he was tourtured. This is one of the major reasons that Vietnam is now an ally of ours in a reigon where China's influence is profoundly felt. As for old? Give me a break. Hes been on the campaign trail longer than Mitt and he still seems as though he has an insurmountable supply of energy. Ronald Regan suffered comments about that to. And look how great a job he did. He knows more than anyone else how to manage the U.S.s state of affairs, reign in pork, control government spending, fix Iraq, and basically manage the U.S. in an infinitley superior way compared to Mitt.
John McCain believes it may be necessary to stay 100 years on Iraqi soil with our weapons raised. Strangely, borrowing a trillion dollars from China does not appear to be a concern of his. When does it become a concern I wonder? Ron Paul, a respected veteran in his own right, has a decidedly different view. I am voting Ron Paul, a man who will fight for us. Dr. Ron Paul is a man of honor who served as a flight surgeon during the Vietnam War. He risked life and limb and his quick thinking and bravery saved countless lives in the heat of battle. We should all thank him for that regardless of our politics. God Bless You Dr. Paul.
On the GOP side, only Dr. Ron Paul had the courage to speak out against the illegal, unnecessary Iraqi war that has devastated the citizenry (According to Lancet Medical Journal 500,000+ innocent Iraqi civilians have been killed; half of Iraq is under 15 years old) and is playing a big part in destroying our economy and currency. job. He supported hunting Bin Laden down and going into Afghanistan to bring his carcass to justice but not the bombing and rebuilding of Iraqi bridges to protect our oil. The Iraqis did not attack us on that horrific day. The attackers were mostly Saudi nationals. More troops support Ron Paul than any other candidate. Does it matter what they think or are Iraqis more important?
