Clinton airs military ad in Texas
Hillary Clinton is targeting active duty and military retirees in traditionally patriotic Texas with her new TV ad.
The spot highlights her championing of a bill to expand healthcare for National Guard and Reserve members. It uses uplifting music, as well as images of soldiers in the field, an injured service member walking down a hallway, and a military retiree hugging Clinton.
"For every soldier who serves so bravely over there but is ignored over here, she hears you," the narrator says. "For every National Guard and Reservist who leaves their family behind, she hears you. That's why Hillary Clinton reached across the aisle, to expand access to health care for the National Guard, and is pushing to protect the bonuses of wounded soldiers. She'll never stop fighting for those who fight for us and give voice to those who have none."
Many of Clinton's supporters say she needs to win Texas, as well as Ohio, on March 4 to stay in the running, now that Barack Obama has taken the lead in delegates and has won eight straight nominating contests and counting.

She should promise that there would be no increase in health care premiums for current and future retirees. Washington is always looking to increase the TRICARE premiums. We fought for what we have gotten and it is time that America gives back to us retirees and vetrans...
She is so full of crap! She is trying to win Texas on the back of the Airmen, Sailors and Soliders that she has numerous times stabbed in the back on budgetary items just so she and the other Demo-Boobs can try to stick it to Bush.
We did not get the budget for FY08 until the end of January 2008 when we should have had it in October. Therefore a 3.5 % pay increase was dropped to 3% becasue we were on a contigency budget. Many people who had been promised bonuses for enlistment/re enlistment saw their payments suspneded in December becasue of her and the other Demo-boobs trying to sneak a bill passed the President when they sent the budget up.
Flip Flop, Flip Flop. She votes for the war then when the rest of the Demo start ratteling their sabors about how the war is a mistake and Bush is a liar and etc. She joins right in but then as soon as someone calls her on her vote she starts acting like she supports the troops.
I wonder if she smokes cigars??
She only embraces the Military when it suits her.
