Clinton lead narrows in Rhode Island
Not many would have predicted it, but the Democratic primary next month in tiny Rhode Island might make a difference.
So a new poll out today is worth noting. Hillary Clinton leads with 36 percent, but Barack Obama is closing ground at 28 percent. Another 27 percent are uncommitted, which is an option on the ballot, and 9 percent are undecided.
The same poll in September, sponsored by Brown University, gave Clinton a 35 percent to 16 percent lead over Obama.
The new survey was conducted Saturday and Sunday and has a margin of error plus or minus 5 percentage points.
Rhode Island is one of four states voting on March 4, when Ohio, Texas, and Vermont also hold contests. Clinton is pointing toward those contests because she could be swept in Tuesday's three primaries, and likely won't be favored in any other contests before March 4.

I just had a funny thought. As everyone knows, the Clinton camp is always insisting that Republicans are nice to Obama because they want him to be the Dem nominee. So, the Clintons say, the GOP and their media agents direct all their attacks on Hillary.
But hang on a mo. What about all these emails going around claiming Obama is a secret Muslim terrorist crack-dealing sleeper agent? If the Clintons are saying these don't come from the GOP, who are they coming from? Duh ... the only other possible culprits are the Clintons themselves.
Actually, I suspect both are sending them. Some are too badly-spelled to be polished Clinton efforts and must come from the GOP base.
How many people read GW Bush's interview yesterday? One notable thing: Bush didn't mention Hillary but instead attacked Obama.
Why would he do that? I thought the GOP wanted Obama to be the nominee?
Maybe he did it because the Republicans are actually wetting their pants in fear at the prospect of facing the OBAMA ELECTORAL TIDAL WAVE.
