Clinton leads in Ohio, Pennsylvania polls
Hillary Clinton, whose presidential hopes could rest on Ohio and then Pennsylvania, leads in both states, according to new polls.
In Ohio, which votes on March 4, Clinton leads Barack Obama 55 percent to 34 percent, according to the Quinnipiac University poll, conducted Feb. 6-12.
The survey shows she has more than a two-to-one lead among white voters, and nearly as big a margin among women and voters age 45 and over. Obama has a large edge among black voters, but trails Clinton by 10 percentage points with men. The poll has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points.
In Pennsylvania, which votes on April 22, Clinton leads Obama 52 percent to 36 percent, according to the Quinnipiac University poll, conducted Feb. 6-12.
She holds a 20-percentage-point lead among women, a two-to-one edge among white voters, and also leads among older and younger voters and those without college degrees. Obama is on top with college graduates. The survey has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.1 percentage points.
Many of the interviews for both polls, however, were conducted before Obama's eight-contest winning streak since the weekend that is giving him momentum and could move poll numbers in his direction. He is favored in contests next week in Wisconsin and Hawaii that could extend his streak to 10 before the pivotal primaries in Ohio and Texas on March 4.

The government already has a hand in my pocket. Hillary wants to garnish my wages further to do her healthcare? How is she leading in polls?
It aint over til it's over....Clinton is still the best choice and there is time for people to wake up and see it!
Queen Hill is done. Barrack Hessein Obama is your lefty nominee.
The question then is posed: Is Middle America (not lefty activists) ready to pull the lever for a far left Black Muslim President?
Why Hillary Should Not Be President
The only thing that matches the cynicism and Machiavellian nature of the
plan to put team Billary back in the white house (or is it HillBilly now?) was Karl Rove's plan to install Dubya. However, standing near a the leader doesn't prove you can lead. And, unfortunately if you inherit the infrastructure of the dear leader, it's hard for the people to evaluate what's you and what's the machine. Hillary could easily be as big a failure as Dubya who's path to the presidency she would have more in common with than Bill's. She might have the judgment necessary to be in command hidden in there but it's impossible to measure -- she hasn't stood on her own for many decades. Thinking the machine can be president is the same flawed view that allowed Dubya to slip in.
Personal judgment is what counts - you can't ride coat tails to command. You either have it in yourself or you don't. Clinton hasn't shown it. Obama has. McCain has.
It's either Obama08 or it's McCain08 then Obama12.

Obama is the only candidate that can make us proud again. Look at his campaign and how many people are involved. He's electrified the elecorate and that's what democracy needs - our involvement.
Obama is the only clear choice. Like it or not Hillary's not electable and is the same old same old. Change - now.
clinton Chronicles....enough said!
Can't say I really dislike Hillary--she is not dumb and would certainly be better than what we've seen the last seven years. For me, Obama is just much closer to what I believe is best for our world. To an extent, I prefer his less experience and more idealism--even if there is some degree of naiveness. Often experience comes with strings attached. I wonder if Ms Clinton would accept the VP slot if it came to that. Some say she is too proud or that the two could not work together but I disagree. The reason they are so evenly split is that they both have strong qualities--not such a bad thing.
Sure she has the experience to lead on day one. But....
At the end of the day, Can you trust her?
And the answer has two letters.
NO....
What's with people these days? Why are they still wanting to support Hillary opps, Billary Clinton? Here we go again with the republican getting the chance to rake us further over the coals. People wake up!!!! Billary does not have a chance to win against McCain!!! I am so tired of her using the "FEM" card I could just puke.
She says that she does not support NAFTA, keep in mind that it was her hubby that passed this agreement. When she decided to run for president she wants to change it. Why now? After all it was her precious Bill who made this all happen.
Why do we as americans forget all these things? Do we have selective memory as many did when they voted Bush into office again. She claims she cares about the middle class and wants to help them. She is alway saying she will be ready to lead on day one.
I have had enough of this "DAY ONE" thing. WHAAA, WHAAAA, She almost sounds like McCain who suffers from amnesia and resides on a different planet. Well folks I hate to tell you but she is spewing "HOGWASH". She will say anything to get your vote dont you realize this? Wake up people and stand up for once in you life and dont fall for the sentors' whom the lobbist OWNS. They have to make the lobbist happy first and what ever they have left is what we get.
I know not many people like Obama probably because of his race. When does the narrow mindedness ends???? Get past it. This country is a melting pot of all nationalities. Obama has the same qualities that the young Bill Clinton had and we all loved him. He is smart, articulate, well prepared to lead the country in a new direction. What do you say folks, lets change this country.
People wake up. Hillary Clinton is the best candidate, bar none, that has run for president in the last 3 elections. We can't run a country on pretty words and we can't assume that just talking makes it all okay. We need someone that can talk, stand tough, make tough decisions, keep the eye on the ball. This isn't a game America. We all stand to lose and if the Republicans get back in, believe me, we "will" lose. Middle America is hurting financially. We are all strapped. We can't even mow our grass without worrying about how much it will cost. Republicans are "oil" people. They are big business people, "but", if Hillary doesn't get in, I'll have to vote for the Republicans. Can't trust someone who is still green behind the ears. Obama talks the talk but "he" can't walk the walk.
Three In A Row, Hello Mrs President!
We do not want to have the Clinton twice in the white house. What are we experiencing right now is too much. This is the second time we have seen the Bush administation and it didn't work out. Do not think that Bill Clinton will be Hillary when she will become president. It seems like the Clintons are running another mandat which is not fair for our natiion thus we need another try from others that are coming with a different thought for this country and a different experience. Obama talks but it can be seen in his heart that he meant whatever he is saying because he has the gut the fact that he ran for president as a African American means that he has the gut to do anything for this country
I would love to vote for a woman with dignity, character and one who rises above political dirt. I have been less than proud of how Senator Clinton has chosen to play the political game. I am afraid she will not earn the respect of a lot of intelligent, dignified women and the young people who are so inspired by this year's election.
