Clinton promises help for middle class

Hillary Clinton, making a late push in Wisconsin, added a positive TV ad to the ones hitting Barack Obama for not debating her in the state before Tuesday's primary.

The new ad highlights her heightened focus on economic populism and her promise to help the middle class.

"The oil companies, the drug companies, have had seven years of a president who stands up for them," Clinton says in the ad, using footage from a recent speech.

"She will end $50 billion in giveaways to corporate special interests and invest that money to rebuild our middle class, end tax breaks for companies that ship jobs overseas and cut taxes for working families," a narrator chimes in.

"It's time we had a president who stands up for all of you," Clinton concludes.

  1. Hillary’s Resume: Feb.1993 World Trade Center attacked first time; Oct. 1993 U.S. forces killed in Somali gun battle; June 1996 U.S. airmen killed in Saudi bomb attack; Aug. 1998 U.S. embassies in Africa bombed. Hillary handled press well to defend her husband, Bill, for having sex with Monica in the Oval Office.
