Clinton raised $14 million last month

Posted by Foon Rhee, deputy national political editor February 20, 2008 08:39 PM

Hillary Clinton's campaign reported tonight that it raised $13.9 million during January, bringing her total to nearly $121 million.

She also loaned her campaign $5 million last month and reported spending nearly $20 million during January, when the first nominating contests occurred and the candidates moved toward Super Tuesday on Feb. 5.

Her January totals fall short of Barack Obama's, but she had more cash on hand as of Jan. 31 than he did.

Clinton's campaign has said she raised $1 million a day during the first half of February.

  1. Hope her solutions to spend this money will improve over her solutions for the first 100 million that she blew through.
