Obama says he's on the way

Posted by Foon Rhee, deputy national political editor February 12, 2008 10:11 PM

Barack Obama, who swept today's primaries, said tonight that his string of victories across the country prove that "the cynics can no longer say our hope is false."

"This movement won't end until there's change in Washington, D.C, and tonight we're on our way," he told raucous supporters in Madison, Wisc., after making his way through a throng of young people holding cellphone cameras.

Wisconsin, along with Hawaii, vote next Tuesday, and Obama is favored in those states as well. If he wins those, he would have won 10 contests in a row, heading into key contests March 4 in Ohio and Texas.
