Ohio Governor Ted Strickland calls Hillary Clinton a fighter who will reverse the state's job exodus as president in a new TV ad.
The former Methodist minister, who has been mentioned as a possible vice presidential pick, also vouches for Clinton as a "person of deep faith" who cares about the middle class in the ad.
"She's fighting for us, and that's the kind of president we need," Strickland, who won a landslide election in the key swing state in 2006.
Clinton's campaign acknowledges that she must win in Ohio on Tuesday, as well as in Texas, to keep her hopes alive against Barack Obama, who has won 11 straight contests and who polls show is closing on Clinton in Ohio.

Clinton is a fighter. She will fight to protect our jobs. She will fight to end the war in Iraq. She will fight to bring America Universal Health Care. She will fight to end poverty in the greatest nation in the world.
I have to agree with everything the Ohio Governor says in this ad. I just can't believe how the public has had the wool pulled over their eyes by the media to support Obama. But after asking the people I talk to that say they are Obama supporters why they think Obama is the one to vote for, they can't even give you a straight anwser on any of his issue!!!! (just emotional support.) We done this before, and why we are in our present postion today.
After March 4th you won't hear from her again, no matter wich way the vote goes. That's tried and true "Clinton", get what you want and move on. If you don't belive me just ask Vince Foster......oh yea
Not just win. She has to win big - 70% or more to pass Barack Obama. No chance of that. The only thing she could do now is to exit as gracefully as she can, that is if she can be graceful. She is smart, she knows what is coming but the hired help would want her to continue because of their own needs. If she continues, it shows that she does not care for the party, she will destroy the party and herself too.
I couldn't agree more with Governor Strickland. I am sure this message comes from the heart but he also used his mental powers to arrive at this conclusion. Many people are in euphoria, right now, and after the clouds have passed they will come back to reality. At least psychologist and psychiarist will see their clientiele increased because many people will be disappointed or depressed when Obama does not deliver the changes in the next 4-8 years.
YOU MIGHT BE AN IDIOT:-)
If you think Barack Obama with little or no experience would be better than Hillary Clinton with 35 years experience.
You Might Be An Idiot!
If you think that Obama with no experience can fix an economy on the verge of collapse better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) led the greatest economic expansion, and prosperity in American history.
You Might Be An Idiot!
If you think that Obama with no experience fighting for universal health care can get it for you better than Hillary Clinton. Who anticipated this current health care crisis back in 1993, and fought a pitched battle against overwhelming odds to get universal health care for all the American people.
You Might Be An Idiot!
If you think that Obama with no experience can manage, and get us out of two wars better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) went to war only when he was convinced that he absolutely had to. Then completed the mission in record time against a nuclear power. AND DID NOT LOSE THE LIFE OF A SINGLE AMERICAN SOLDIER. NOT ONE!
You Might Be An Idiot!
If you think that Obama with no experience saving the environment is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) left office with the greatest amount of environmental cleanup, and protections in American history.
You Might Be An Idiot!
If you think that Obama with little or no education experience is better than Hillary Clinton. Whose ;-) husband (Bill Clinton) made higher education affordable for every American. And created higher job demand and starting salary's than they had ever been before or since.
You Might Be An Idiot!
If you think that Obama with no experience will be better than Hillary Clinton who spent 8 years at the right hand of President Bill Clinton. Who is already on record as one of the greatest Presidents in American history.
You Might Be An Idiot!
If you think that you can change the way Washington works with pretty speeches from Obama, rather than with the experience, and political expertise of two master politicians ON YOUR SIDE like Hillary and Bill Clinton..
You Might Be An Idiot!
If you think all those Republicans voting for Obama in the Democratic primaries, and caucuses are doing so because they think he is a stronger Democratic candidate than Hillary Clinton. :-)
Best regards
jacksmith...
You might be an idiot, if you listen to the lies, that jacksmith just made up. Check out other sources or wikipedia for the real scoop. Or, if you simply want action, not words - look at what Obama has done in bringing people together, while Clinton squandered her lead and resources and already reneged on her pre-election promises to her own party.
Really, then check out this website by a reporter who knew BO before he became the presidential candidate. It is very interesting how he has risen to power so quickly.

As I write this, I'm listening to his speech on CNN and he sounds a lot like Hillary.
Does the Globe realize that Hillary won the state, not Obama - or are you afraid of that lack of substance too Governor of ours?
Bob
You did not us tell the real issue you are voting hillary for.
Both candidates have been telling us what they will do. Like any supporter you are interested in bashing who you do not like.
How many times H and O have been saying that their policies are the democratic party policies and do not have much difference?
They have all expressed their plan about: Immigration, Health Care, NAFTA, Security, Iraqi War, Outsourcing...
Give your opinion about what candidates said supporting or opposing their approaches. Otherwise you too are blinded by your emotion.
On experience may be the constitution need to be changed to ban people who have not been working at the white house or married to people working there.
All people with experience based on non political careers should also be banned.
I don't know what Bill and Hillary have promised Strickland, but it must be pretty darn good to make him forget earlier espoused principals like the importance of releasing tax returns. He is proving to be a business-as-usual politician. I think we should create a new country, Jack Smith can be the sole citizen and Hillary and Strickland can rule over him. Those three seem to deserve each other.
