Video hits McCain on Iraq war

Posted by Foon Rhee, deputy national political editor February 11, 2008 02:26 PM

A video weaving together excerpts of a Barack Obama speech with music and celebrity spoken word became a sensation on YouTube and other websites.

Now, there's a sort-of spoof featuring John McCain, but it's nowhere near as flattering.

Instead, it ridicules his comments that the US could keep troops in Iraq for 100 years and end up in a confrontation with Iran. The guest speakers become quizzical, then panicked, with one hyperventilating into a paper bag.

"McCain '08," says text that appears at the end of the video. "Like hope, but different," riffing off Obama's call for hope.
